Christmas Seals of Denmark

Experience a world of memories, stories and community unfold in Christmas Seals of Denmark. In collaboration with the Danish foundation Julemærkefonden, we have the great pleasure of showing an exciting and memorable selection of Denmark’s most beautiful Christmas seals throughout the years - and of course this year’s Christmas seal. Christmas Seals of Denmark shows a small piece of Danish history in the form of well- known Christmas seals, which have played a small – but important – role in Dane’s Christmas traditions for generations, and tells the fascinating story of the big difference the Christmas seals has made for countless children through more than 100 years.

The exhibited Christmas seals are in themselves a feast for the eyes of both children and adults, and for the older audience they will undoubtedly bring back many happy Christmas memories. The exhibition also contains HRH Queen Margrethe’s original sketches for the 3 beautiful Christmas seals she has created.
